The Dimensions of Different Worlds

If I don’t see it, therefore, it doesn’t exist!”  How foolish does this statement sounds!?

In the past, people considered whatever visible or tested in a lab as existing facts, and all other things that were not physically measurable by the five senses as non-existence.  With advancement of technology, thankfully, people realize how scientists of the past were wrong, and how much they know today that was considered to be hearsay, fictional, and superstitious.

Uneducated and misinformed people of the past considered only things that were measurable in their labs as science.   They even made fun of the people that believed in other worlds and other forms of existence that were not visible or sensible to human five physical and materialistic scenes.  Whenever there was a discussion of God or angels and other concept of the metaphysical world, they claimed that because I don’t see it or feel it, therefore, it doesn’t exist.

Thankfully, today we live in the world that science has proven itself wrong.  Today, we know that all that exists doesn’t have to and cannot be sensible to human five senses.  For example, WiFi waves are readily available in space surrounding us, but we don’t feel it.  Because it is in a different form and dimension, one must understand that the waves are sent from a sender, thru a medium, to a receiver.   Now, even if the receiver finds the signal, it must have the proper setting to understand it and the right password to access the world of information technology that can translate data into colors and sounds and smell and touching feelings that were not visible or sensible to a person with no WiFi receiver.

How is this related to Mysticism?

If the above methodology is understood and accepted, it is much easier to understand that what we as human see and feel around us is not compete and all there is.  A truth seeker understands his limitation and tries to find ways to understand the truth in other ways that make sense to him.  In Erfan Moqarabeen mystical teachings there are four worlds defined in four different levels with four different dimensions.  The lowest form and level is this physical world that is sensible and that could be understood by our five senses.    Other worlds are a bit more difficult to explain in English, but if you are interested and We have a better understanding of the level of understanding and education of our audience, we might enter that discussion in future.

The discussion will look into the Physical world (ناسوت) sensed by our five senses, the spiritual world (ملکوت) sensed by our soul (نفس) and spirit,  the Lahoot (لاهوت) sensed by the logical mind (عقل), and Jabaroot (جبروت) sensed only by heart (فواد).
